Public Safety and Police

Our communities have become far less safe and our Police are being attacked wherever the
policies of the far left have taken hold. We must stop the revolving door of criminals through our justice system, and hold District Attorneys and Judges accountable. We all have a right to safety in our homes and in our communities. When elected, I will ensure Public Safety and support for our Police is a top priority.

Economy

Inflation is hitting Minnesotans hard at the gas pumps and grocery stores. Meanwhile,
Democrats at the Capital are trying to spend your 12-billion-dollar surplus from over taxation. Its time to give it back. I work will to reduce taxes, fraud, and the burden of government for Minnesotans. Our government should work to ensure economic prosperity for all.

Schools

When remote learning was forced on our children and parents, we quickly learned that the
leftist ideology had taken over the education system. Our students suffered with poor test scores,
inadequate learning, and indoctrination of anti-American values. I will work to support an education system that protects and better educates our children, plus ensures parents have a voice.

Social Security

Hard working Minnesotans, like you, have worked their entire lives paying into Social Security. You already paid taxes when it was taken out of your paycheck the first time, why should you pay taxes on it again? I want to eliminate the state income tax on Social Security so our senior citizens can enjoy their retirement. Tou Xiong voted against tax relief for seniors and voted instead to use the funds for tax breaks for Hollywood film studios. (SSI H792 6/30/2021) That’s just plain wrong!

Property Taxes

Getting older does get more expensive as incomes are often reduced after retirement. Add inflation to the mix, and your fixed income becomes even more limiting. Even though you may be retired, Big Government tries to take more of your money through property taxes. You worked hard all your life to earn a living and make a good home. Your retirement years should be less stressful and more enjoyable. That’s why I’m in favor of freezing property tax rates for seniors at age 65, and also for people who own the same house for 30 years. It’s only fair!
